Altria may be a name that means nothing at the present time. Neither did Phillip Morris upon its inception. Over time, Altria and Xe will communicate meaning to their stakeholders. The important thing for brand custodians to remember is that what they do today will reflect on the company in future years. So, yes, establish the new order, ingrain it in employees and then consistently police and protect all aspects of brand exposure to all brand touchpoints.
